Growing up on the Great Plains gave me many opportunities to view the sky, stars, and the sun phenomena of the Northern Lights.

Serenity

One of the most peaceful places I have found is early mornings at my family's lake cabin. One pleasant morning a family of ducks floated across the bay.

Many old abandoned farmsteads exist around my home town. It is just haunting with the flickering of the Northern Lights overhead.

Osgaard: My Hideaway

The back door at the bottom of the hill at my family cabin. In the spring the bushes around the door bloom with tons of Lilacs. A true hideaway.
